Terms of service

Roger is built and run by Cameron Duncalfe, Toronto, Canada. In these terms “we” means Cameron Duncalfe, operating as Roger, and “you” means the business that subscribes.

Roger is a custom AI agent, built and run by Cam Duncalfe, a senior designer. We set up a Roger for you, connect him to the chat app and tools you choose, and keep him running and monitored. Roger handles the small requests your subscription covers: website updates, publishing, SEO, analytics, listings and the other work described on the pricing page.

The setup fee is quoted per agent and billed once, before setup starts. It covers the setup call, writing your agent’s guidelines, connecting your tools and a test week.

The monthly fee is billed monthly, in advance, from the day your agent goes live. You can cancel at any time, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for. We don’t refund partial months or the setup fee once setup has started.

A small request is one job you can describe in a message, like updating a pricing table, publishing a post, answering reviews or pulling a report. Requests are handled one at a time. Work that is really a project, like a full redesign, is quoted separately and isn’t part of your subscription.

Visible changes go to a preview first. Roger publishes to your live site or sends anything on your behalf only when you approve it, or when you’ve told us a type of change can ship on its own. You’re responsible for the content you approve, including its accuracy and your right to use it.

Roger works through accounts you invite him to, with his own email address and the access you grant. You can change or remove his access at any time in your tools’ settings. When you cancel, we remove his access ourselves.

Roger runs on our machines, with his own computer, and connects to your tools over the access you grant. We don’t provide a copy of the agent to run yourself.

The agent’s setup, configuration, skills, guidelines and the methods behind them are ours and stay ours during and after your subscription. Your data, your accounts and the work Roger produces for you are yours. When you leave, we hand back anything of yours he holds and then delete it.

We never make purchases on your behalf. Roger doesn’t buy anything, upgrade a plan or enter payment details.

We work to improve your site’s search and AI search visibility, but we don’t guarantee any ranking, traffic or result.

We keep your business information confidential and use it only to provide the service. Roger’s workspace for you is kept separate from every other client’s.

We delete your workspace and notes 90 days after you cancel. Ask sooner and we’ll delete them sooner.

Our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

If we change these terms we’ll tell you by email before the change takes effect.
